The Canadian Centre for Arts + Technology is a non-profit organization providing specialized programs in digital arts, culinary arts and IT for underprivileged youth and young adults living in the Vancouver Downtown East Side (DTES).
Creative Agency: Jennis Design Co
This web design project was driven by the creative direction and inspiration of the team at Jennis Design Co. The use of bright colours and youthful images help tell the story and explain the purpose of the program. The site sections are layered with colourful headers, big fonts and with mobile/tablet users in mind.
On every page, site elements animate into the frame, bringing attention to key headers and information. Backend editing of this website was made easy by installing custom visual editors within WordPress, so that anyone could update site content without web programming experience.
Before launching the website, we helped secure and register the site domain name, set up necessary email addresses and configure web hosting for WordPress. Our ongoing website management includes updating core files, plugins, site tags & ad snippets as well as ongoing content changes.
